Role Objective
- Oversee the team responsible for financial solutions offered to customers and guide the insurance, loan, and warranty offerings related to vehicle purchases.
- Define and achieve sales and service goals in close collaboration with the sales team and financial partners.
- Negotiate and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions and insurers to obtain favorable conditions for our customers and the dealership.
- Ensure a clear and ethical approach to financial options, avoiding technical jargon, and ensure transparency of information provided to customers.
- Supervise training and professional development of the team, promote continuous improvement, and ensure the best possible customer experience throughout the process.
- Monitor performance indicators, prepare reports, and participate in the development of the financial services budget.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate activities related to auto financing, insurance, and warranties offered to customers.
- Work with the sales team to propose tailored solutions to each customer and maximize satisfaction and loyalty.
- Follow up on customer files to ensure speed, accuracy, and compliance throughout the financing and insurance process.
- Ensure compliance with laws, internal rules, and dealership policies regarding financial services.
- Train and supervise the team on sales practices, file handling, and relations with financial partners.
- Actively participate in the development of partnerships with local insurers and lenders.
Profile Sought
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in selling auto-related financial services (insurance, loans, and warranties) or in a similar role.
- Proven experience in team management and in developing employees' skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to clearly explain financial options without jargon.
- Analytical mindset, organizational skills, and ability to achieve targets while maintaining high-quality customer service.
- Business sense, integrity, and ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
- Fluency in French; knowledge of English would be an asset.
