Automotive Shop Dispatcher

Subaru Metropolitan, a Subaru dealership in Montreal and a member of the Tremblay Auto Group, is seeking a Service Workshop Dispatcher to strengthen its team in Saint-Léonard. You will be at the heart of the operational efficiency of the after-sales service and contribute to providing a flawless Subaru customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule and assign repair and maintenance orders to technicians based on priorities, available parts, and customer deadlines.
• Monitor the progress of work, adjust schedules, and optimize workshop utilization to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Coordinate with technicians, service advisors, and parts department to ensure resource availability and smooth communication.
• Communicate progress and any delays to internal teams and, if necessary, to customers, while managing expectations.
• Ensure compliance with processes and record keeping in the management system (DMS) and workshop safety.
• Participate in continuous improvement of workflow and propose solutions to optimize productivity and customer satisfaction.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum experience: 1 year in a dispatcher/planner role in an automotive workshop or related environment.
• Good knowledge of workshop processes, workflows, and computerized management systems (DMS).
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork spirit; customer service orientation.
• Fluent in French; English is a plus.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to workshop needs.
