Service Advisor

Elite Mechanics Plus Inc., located in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, is seeking a Technical Advisor to join its dynamic team. The position is part of our commitment to service excellence and technical performance in the automotive sector. The ideal candidate brings a customer-oriented approach and a solid understanding of the technical issues faced by our clients and technicians.

Main responsibilities

• Organize the schedule and time management of technicians.
• Serve as a technical intermediary between clients and the workshop.
• Analyze technical needs, read and interpret diagrams and technical documents.
• Advise on repairs and part replacements; propose optimal and cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare and monitor technical quotes; ensure compliance with deadlines and guarantees.
• Collaborate with teams to optimize processes and tools.
• Participate in the evaluation and continuous improvement of products and services.
• Monitor compliance with safety standards and workshop procedures.
• Oversee the proper conduct of repairs performed by technicians.

Required qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical or after-sales role in the automotive sector or a related field.
• Relevant diploma (DEP or DEC in automotive mechanics) would be an asset.
• Excellent communication skills and customer focus; ability to simplify technical information.
• Skills in reading diagrams, technical manuals, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with computer tools (Microsoft Office suite or specific software like GemCar).
• Team spirit, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Valid driver's license; willingness to travel if necessary.
• Fluent French; English is an asset.
