Service Advisor

Volkswagen Complex 440, located in Laval, Quebec, offers a stimulating environment. We are seeking a passionate and customer service-oriented technical advisor to join our dynamic team.

Job Description The technical advisor acts as a privileged point of contact between our customers and the workshop, ensuring personalized service and coordinating technical interventions in collaboration with technicians. You will be responsible for assessing customer needs, explaining technical and financial options, preparing quotes, and following up on repairs until completion, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to the group’s quality standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and understand their technical needs.
• Serve as an intermediary between the customer and the workshop; plan and coordinate interventions.
• Clearly explain repair options, estimated costs, and warranties.
• Prepare, present, and document estimates; track files.
• Work closely with technicians and various departments to optimize timelines and quality of service.
• Update customer information in the system and promote additional service opportunities.
• Follow internal procedures as well as safety and quality standards.

Qualifications Required

• At least 2 years of experience in a technical advisor role or similar, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills in French; English is an asset.
• Ability to simplify technical information and manage multiple files simultaneously.
• Team spirit, organizational skills, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency with computer tools (CRM, estimate software, office applications).
• Knowledge of automotive maintenance systems and procedures is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
