St-Constant Honda Desjardins is looking for a Technical Advisor to join our dynamic team in Saint-Constant, Quebec.

Job Description As a Technical Advisor, you will be the first technical contact for our customers and ensure effective communication between the workshop and the clientele. You will assess needs, explain service and repair options, and ensure that each customer receives clear, prompt, and courteous service.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and understand their concerns related to their Honda vehicle.
  • Diagnose service needs and propose appropriate solutions, explaining costs and timelines.
  • Prepare and present service estimates and obtain customer approval.
  • Communicate timelines and schedule interventions with the workshop and technicians.
  • Serve as an intermediary between the customer and the technical team; translate technical diagnostics into understandable information.
  • Follow up until customer satisfaction is achieved and contribute to customer loyalty.
  • Promote preventive services and maintenance programs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer files, and ensure the correctness of information related to services performed.
  • Collaborate with the team to optimize workshop efficiency and customer experience.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical consulting or customer service role, ideally in the automotive sector.
  • Relevant diploma (DEP or DEC in automotive mechanics, customer service, or equivalent) or equivalent experience.
  • Good technical knowledge and ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Customer service-oriented, with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
  • Organization, time management, and ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with computer tools and service management systems; bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.
  • Team spirit, adaptability, and desire to contribute to the success of the team.
