Job Description
As part of Châteauguay Honda Desjardins, we are seeking a Sales Director specialized in used vehicles. You will be responsible for leading sales, achieving and exceeding targets, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will lead a team of salespeople and collaborate with the finance, marketing, and after-sales departments to optimize performance and profitability.
Main Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and monitor the sales strategy for certified and non-certified used vehicles.
- Supervise, train, and motivate the sales team; set individual and collective goals and ensure talent development.
- Manage the sales pipeline and the sales process from inspection to delivery, using CRM and performance indicators.
- Optimize inventory, pricing, promotions, and financing/leasing programs to maximize margins and turnover rate.
- Collaborate with after-sales and marketing to ensure a smooth customer experience and positive customer feedback.
- Ensure compliance with business practices, ethics, and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze performance, prepare regular reports, and propose corrective actions.
- Participate in the recruitment and ongoing training of the team.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in automotive sales management, ideally in used vehicles.
- Expertise in team leadership, coaching, and performance development.
- Solid knowledge of financing and leasing processes and the ability to propose suitable solutions.
- Excellent negotiation, customer service, and results-oriented skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and performance analysis; good command of Excel and POS systems.
- Excellent communication skills in French; English is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and availability to work according to operational needs.
