Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate auto loan applications, determine eligibility and appropriate conditions.
  • Verify documents (income, employment history, IDs, bank statements, etc.) and ensure the accuracy of the information provided.
  • Assess risk and perform creditworthiness analyses based on credit reports and internal resources.
  • Prepare and present suitable financing offers, including rates, terms, and insurance options.
  • Negotiate conditions with clients and associated financial institutions, respecting internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with sales teams and dealerships to ensure a smooth customer experience and quick closure of files.
  • Ensure compliance and maintain complete, up-to-date records in credit management systems (CRM and internal tools).
  • Follow up on balances, payments, and potential delays, proposing appropriate actions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of credit processes and share best practices with the team.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in financing or credit processing, ideally in the automotive sector.
  • Knowledge of auto financing products, underwriting mechanisms, and risk management practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial information and credit reports.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in French; English is an asset.
  • Customer service orientation, team spirit, and ability to advise and support clients in their financing options.
  • Proficiency with computer tools (MS Office) and credit management/CRM systems.
  • Rigor, discretion, and attention to deadlines and procedures.
  • Education: higher education diploma in finance, administration, economics, or related field; relevant experience may compensate.
  • Valid driver’s license and availability to work as per operational needs.
