Brief job description: • Assist the sales management by performing various administrative tasks related to automotive transactions.
Main responsibilities
• Open and prepare files related to vehicle transactions and exchanges between dealerships; • Record vehicle sales and purchases in the computer system; • Process the end-of-month sales advisors' commission sheets for the accounting payroll department; • Produce various statistical reports concerning sales, inventory, orders, and management; • Record manufacturer invoices in the computer system and make adjustments to balance accounts; • Place special orders with suppliers for the purchase and installation of additional items sold to customers; • Organize and plan exchanges between dealerships in collaboration with the sales management; • Provide necessary information to the accounting department for billing dealership exchanges; • Provide necessary information to the accounting department for issuing checks; • Assist the sales manager regarding the registration of new and used cars; • Help the sales manager prepare documents related to taxes, vehicle links, as well as documentation required by the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec; • Prepare the necessary documents for the registration of demonstrator vehicles; • Process and record all vehicle warranties as well as all extended maintenance contracts, and maintain a register of all contracts processed and sent by mail.
