Job Description
Saint-Laurent Hyundai is seeking a Fixed Operations Manager to ensure the performance and coordination of after-sales services at our two dealerships, Hyundai Saint-Laurent and Genesis Saint-Laurent. The role aims to optimize the operations of the service department (maintenance, parts, and accessories), to guarantee operational excellence, and to provide an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all after-sales activities for both dealerships (maintenance, parts, accessories) to ensure timely service and quality standards in line with manufacturer requirements.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (productivity, repair rate, customer satisfaction, operational costs, service margin) and implement necessary corrective actions.
- Plan human and material resources (schedules, staffing, parts inventory) to maximize workshop efficiency and availability.
- Supervise technical and administrative teams; develop talent, promote safety, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Financing departments to optimize the customer experience and interdepartmental workflows.
- Manage the service budget, purchasing, and relationships with suppliers, seeking cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Implement continuous improvement and training initiatives (procedures, tools, work methods).
- Ensure compliance with Hyundai and Genesis standards, warranty programs, and maintenance and safety policies.
- Guarantee a high-quality customer experience and foster loyalty through professional and proactive communication.
- Lead cross-departmental projects between the two dealerships to standardize practices and optimize overall performance.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fixed operations management or a similar role in the automotive sector.
- Good knowledge of after-sales processes, warranties, and manufacturer standards.
- Excellent leadership, team management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Customer and results-oriented; ability to work in a bilingual environment (French, English an asset).
- Proficiency with computer tools and service management systems; aptitude for data analysis and decision-making based on figures.
