At NAPA AUTOPRO – Atelier Sylvain Bissonnette, located in Sherbrooke, Quebec, we combine the artisanal experience of an independent workshop with the standards of the NAPA AUTOPRO network to offer our customers a reliable and transparent service. We are seeking a motivated, client-oriented technical advisor to join us and support our clients throughout the diagnostic and repair process.

Job description The technical advisor acts as the interface between the client and the workshop. He ensures a quality customer experience, oversees the technical aspects of interventions and participates in coordinating activities between the service department and the workshop.

Main responsibilities

  • Greet customers and understand their technical needs, clearly explaining the proposed solutions.
  • Work in collaboration with the technicians to diagnose problems and assess the necessary repairs.
  • Prepare and present cost and time estimates, and obtain the client's approval.
  • Plan interventions, track the progress of repair orders and ensure the smooth running of the service.
  • Ensure the traceability of records, communicate relevant information and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Verify warranty details, promotions and parts used.
  • Participate in the final verification of repairs and in preparing the vehicle before delivery.
  • Adhere to safety rules, internal procedures and the quality standards of the NAPA AUTOPRO network.

Profile sought

  • Relevant diploma in automotive technology or equivalent experience accepted.
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills; ability to make technical information accessible.
  • Organization, rigor and attention to detail; ability to manage priorities and work under pressure.
  • Team spirit, autonomy and adaptability; customer service orientation and commitment to quality.
  • Proficiency in French; knowledge of English is an asset.
  • Good computer skills and ability to use estimating tools and management software.
