We are seeking a motivated Service Advisor to join Kia Gabriel Ouest, an authorized Kia dealership located in Montréal, Quebec. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers in the Service Department, guiding them through vehicle maintenance and repair experiences from check-in to delivery. You will collaborate with technicians, parts, and management to ensure clear communication, accurate service planning, and a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers, listen to service requests, and accurately document vehicle concerns and history
- Present clear, transparent estimates and obtain customer authorization for services
- Create and manage service orders in our dealership management system; coordinate workflow with technicians and parts
- Communicate service progress to customers, manage expectations, and adjust as needed
- Upsell and recommend appropriate maintenance and repair services in line with customer needs and manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain superior customer service by addressing questions, concerns, and complaints professionally
- Assist with warranty claims and service approvals; ensure quality control of completed work
- Uphold a clean, safe, and organized service area; adhere to Kia standards and dealership policies
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar automotive service role (1 year required)
- Strong customer service and communication skills; ability to translate technical information into clear language for customers
- Proficiency with dealership service software and order processing; ability to collaborate with multiple teams
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and warranty processes
- Bilingual in English and French is an asset
