Valleyfield Honda is seeking a Fixed Operations Director to lead the Service and Parts departments and ensure a high-quality customer experience while optimizing operational and financial performance.
Job Objective
Oversee all fixed operations activities (after-sales service and parts), ensure operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability, while maintaining compliance with Honda Canada standards and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and achieve operational and financial objectives for the Service and Parts departments.
- Supervise and develop teams (recruitment, training, evaluations, succession planning) and foster a culture of operational excellence and safety.
- Optimize workshop processes (scheduling, flow, turnaround, quality) and parts management (inventory, purchasing, costs).
- Ensure compliance with Honda Canada standards, including warranties and customer satisfaction.
- Lead customer satisfaction initiatives: reduce intervention times, proactively manage claims, and continuously improve the customer experience.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare regular reports, and propose corrective actions.
- Manage the fixed operations budget, operating costs, and investments in technology and tools.
- Collaborate with the Sales Department to optimize service programs and added value.
- Guarantee workplace safety, service quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop local partnerships and ensure effective supplier purchasing and service management.
Requirements
- Relevant degree (bachelor’s or equivalent) or equivalent experience in a similar position.
- At least 3 years of experience in managing or directing fixed operations (Service and Parts).
- Knowledge of automotive after-sales processes, policies, and Honda Canada programs.
- Strong financial management skills (budgets, costs, margins) and experience with service management systems and tools.
- Proven leadership, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills; customer-oriented with change management ability.
- Ability to work in a bilingual environment; French is required; English is a plus.
