Service Advisor

We are recruiting an experienced Technical Advisor to join LGS Performance, a division of Groupe Savard Inc. specialized in auto maintenance and mechanics, located in Terrebonne, Quebec. As a technical advisor, you will be the point of reference for diagnosing and proposing technical solutions tailored to our clientele of exotic, luxury, and standard vehicles, in collaboration with our team of technicians and sales staff.

Job Description

• Diagnose the technical needs of customers and assist them in choosing maintenance, repair, and performance optimization solutions.
• Provide clear and precise technical advice and interpret diagnostic reports to establish relevant recommendations.
• Work closely with technicians to ensure the feasibility, quality, and compliance of repairs and maintenance.
• Prepare and present detailed and transparent estimates and technical quotes.
• Follow up on customer files until resolution, ensuring a high level of after-sales service.
• Participate in the development and updating of procedures, standards, and workshop tools.
• Train and support the technical team on advanced mechanical, electrical, and electronic aspects.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, warranties, and industry best practices.

Requirements and Profile

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical consulting or technical supervision in the automotive sector; experience with exotic, luxury, or high-performance vehicles is a major asset.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems; mastery of diagnostic tools and automotive management/diagnostic software (OBD, etc.).
• Analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and technical estimation capabilities; excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
• Degree in automotive mechanics or equivalent training; relevant certifications are considered an asset.
• Fluency in French; knowledge of technical English is an advantage.
• Team spirit, organizational skills, autonomy, and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
