Financial Services Manager

Surgenor Gatineau Chevrolet Cadillac Ltd., located in Gatineau, Quebec, wishes to strengthen its team with a dynamic leader to supervise the financial services related to vehicle sales: insurance, financing, and warranties offered to customers.

Your role

• Lead and coach the financial services team to provide a first-rate customer experience while maximizing sales opportunities for insurance, financing, and warranty products.
• Develop and implement simple and clear approaches to present financial solutions throughout the sales process.
• Work closely with the sales and service departments to ensure a smooth, transparent, and satisfying customer experience.
• Supervise the management of files and necessary documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.
• Set sales and performance goals, analyze results, and establish effective action plans.
• Train, support, and motivate the team to maintain high standards of service and competence.
• Manage relationships with financial partners and insurers to obtain advantageous conditions and responsive service for clients.
• Resolve complex situations and complaints professionally, aiming for win-win solutions.
• Ensure compliance with internal rules and applicable laws, and ensure ethical management of transactions.

Profile

• Minimum of one year of experience required in selling financial products, insurance, or warranties, or in a similar supervisory role.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication abilities.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team, with a constant focus on customer service.
• Results-oriented with good organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities.
• General knowledge of insurance, financing, and warranty products; interest in the automotive sector.
• Proficiency in French; English is an asset.
• Relevant degree in administration, management, or related field is preferred but not essential depending on experience.
• Valid driver's license (if applicable).
