Technical advisor

Responsibilities

Greet customers professionally and assess their vehicle issues in order to provide precise technical advice. Clearly explain repair options, estimated costs, and timeframes to customers. Offer additional maintenance services or packages to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership sales. Accurately handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently. Coordinate with technicians to ensure repairs and services are completed within scheduled timelines. Keep detailed records of customer interactions, repairs performed, and sales made. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to questions, concerns, and feedback professionally. Stay informed about the latest automotive technologies, repair procedures, and dealership offers.

Experience

Dealership experience is highly preferred, along with a solid understanding of automotive sales and maintenance processes.

Experience or knowledge in mechanics is essential to offer credible advice on vehicle repairs.

Proven customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers. Experience in sales or proposing additional services is an advantage. Knowledge of cash management procedures ensures accurate transaction processing. Previous experience in the automotive repair sector will be considered a significant asset.
