We are looking for a Deputy Sales Director to join Subaru Repentigny, a passionate team dedicated to providing exceptional service. Under the supervision of the Sales Director, you will actively contribute to the operational management and development of our commercial activity, while enhancing the customer experience throughout the purchasing and maintenance process.
Job Type: Full-time (permanent contract)
Main Responsibilities
- Supervise and coach the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Participate in developing and executing sales strategies aligned with the dealership's and Tremblay Auto Groupe’s objectives.
- Plan and optimize staffing, manage schedules, and ensure appropriate coverage of the showroom and promotional events.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular operational reports for management.
- Coordinate with after-sales service, financing, and marketing to deliver a seamless and motivating customer experience.
- Implement and oversee loyalty programs, promotions, and upselling initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with service, ethics, and safety standards, while ensuring sales processes adhere to regulations.
- Participate in the recruitment, welcoming, and training of new hires, and support their integration and development.
- Optimize the sales process and propose financial solutions and financing options tailored to clients.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and proactively, working toward continuous improvement.
- Contribute to showroom layout and promotion presentation to maximize customer attraction.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role, ideally in the automotive sector.
- Degree in management, business, marketing, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
- Strong customer and results-oriented approach, ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; bilingual French-English is an asset.
- Proficiency in computer tools and CRM solutions; knowledge of automotive sales and financing practices.
- Analytical mindset, proactive, and capable of collaborating with other departments.
