Job description

Saint-Laurent Hyundai, a dealership in the Montreal area, is looking for a passionate and service-oriented Technical Advisor to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Greet and listen to customers upon their arrival at the service department, identify their needs, and determine maintenance or repair priorities.
  • Guide customers on technical options and provide clear and transparent estimates.
  • Work closely with technicians to ensure efficient planning of work and follow-up on cases.
  • Explain the work performed, timeframes, and costs to customers in an understandable manner, while ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, safety standards, and Hyundai quality standards.
  • Manage appointments and maintain proactive communication with customers throughout the process.

Ideal candidate

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, ideally in the automotive sector or after-sales service.
  • Solid knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance and repair practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer service mindset.
  • Ability to explain technical information simply and facilitate customer decision-making.
  • Good organizational skills and team spirit; proficiency with service management software is a plus.
  • Fluent in French; English is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license and availability to work during service hours.
