Based in Saint-Constant, Quebec, this position is intended for a Sales Director sought by a group active in the automotive sector, to lead business growth and strengthen our distribution network. Compensation and conditions will be discussed based on experience and performance.
Context and Mission
- Lead and optimize all commercial activities of the company within the territory, in alignment with strategic objectives.
- Supervise a sales team and distributor partners to ensure the achievement of growth and profitability goals.
- Actively participate in the development of the B2B customer network and the dealer portfolio, ensuring a high-level customer experience.
- Act as a brand ambassador and represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the commercial strategy and annual sales plan.
- Support, train, and develop the sales team (internal teams and partners) to optimize individual and collective performance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, B2B clients, and strategic partners.
- Oversee the sales cycle from A to Z: prospecting, negotiation, closing, and portfolio management.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and After-Sales Service to ensure a coherent and differentiated offering.
- Prepare and manage the sales budget, make accurate forecasts, and monitor KPIs (revenue, margin, market share, acquisition costs, etc.).
- Analyze the local market and trends to quickly adjust action plans and seize opportunities.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, preserve the brand image, and promote operational innovation.
- Represent the company at regional events, fairs, and professional networks.
Profile Sought
- Minimum required experience: 3 years in sales management (or equivalent), ideally in the automotive sector or B2B distribution.
- Strong leadership and ability to develop and motivate a team; experience in coaching and talent management.
- Solid negotiation, communication, and presentation skills; results-oriented with an analytical mindset.
- Knowledge of the Quebec market and the automotive network; mastery of CRM tools and analysis (advanced Excel, etc.).
- Proficiency in French; English is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
