Job description

NAPA Autopro - Gare Mechanical Center, located in Saint-Jérôme and near the train station, is seeking a Technical Advisor to join its dynamic team. You will be the first technical contact for our customers and a solid support for our technicians, in a growing garage where respect and mutual aid are an integral part of our culture.

Job Responsibilities

  • Advise customers on recommended repairs and maintenance, explaining options and associated costs.
  • Diagnose vehicle needs based on symptoms, collected information, and quick tests.
  • Prepare and present clear, accurate, and competitive quotes, taking into account safety and reliability requirements.
  • Schedule interventions with technicians and coordinate parts and deadlines.
  • Follow up on customer files, communicate progress, and ensure high-quality customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality standards, and internal procedures.
  • Actively participate in continuous process improvement and overall customer experience.

Profile Sought

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within an automotive workshop.
  • DEP diploma in automotive mechanics or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service mindset.
  • Ability to explain technical notions to non-initiated clients.
  • Team spirit, versatility, organization, and results-oriented.
  • Proficiency in French; English is an asset.
  • Knowledge of workshop management software is an advantage.
  • Valid driver's license and availability to work as needed by the garage.
