Hawkesbury Cadillac Chevrolet Buick GMC, located in Hawkesbury, Ontario, is seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join its dynamic team. This position is a one-year fixed-term contract and requires a minimum of one year of experience in a similar role within a car dealership.
Role and Responsibilities
- Welcome customers to the service department and understand their mechanical and maintenance needs.
- Diagnose requests and prepare clear and competitive quotes in collaboration with technicians.
- Explain repairs, options, and costs in a simple and transparent manner.
- Plan and track repairs with the technical team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Keep service records, work orders, and client reports up to date.
- Coordinate with parts and related services to ensure an efficient workflow.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and promote additional services.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of after-sales service processes.
Profile sought
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role at a car dealership.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to explain repairs and costs clearly and transparently.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work as a team under pressure.
- Proficiency with computer tools and service management software.
- General knowledge of parts and automotive maintenance procedures.
- Fluent in French; functional English appreciated.
- Valid driver's license.
