Job Description We are seeking a Floor Manager to lead our sales team on the showroom floor and ensure an exceptional customer experience at Repentigny Chevrolet Buick GMC Corvette, located in Repentigny, Quebec. Part of Tremblay Auto Group, our modern dealership features a state-of-the-art showroom, financing services, and parts and service centers.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and motivate the sales floor team; plan schedules, delegate tasks, and ensure optimal coverage of the showroom.
  • Ensure an impeccable customer experience: personalized greeting, objection handling, coordination of test drives, and follow-up with customers until the sale is finalized.
  • Maximize commercial results: achieve and surpass sales targets, improve vehicle presentation, and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Analyze and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs): conversion rates, daily sales, customer satisfaction, and process compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with service and finance departments to offer comprehensive solutions (new Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC vehicles, parts and repairs, warranties, and financing).
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards: internal procedures, safety on the floor, cleanliness, and promotion displays.
  • Design and implement ongoing training programs and skill development for sales and technical staff.
  • Manage vehicle inventory and display on the showroom floor, coordinate test drives and customer feedback.
  • Provide regular reports to management and propose action plans aimed at improving performance and service quality.
  • Handle customer service situations and complaints professionally, seeking sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the automotive sector.
  • Proven leadership, ability to motivate and develop a team, excellent communication skills, and strong customer service orientation.
  • Results-driven, time management skills, and ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of automotive sales processes, financing, warranties, and trade-in programs.
  • Fluency in French; English is an asset.
  • Availability for varied shifts based on showroom needs and peak periods.
