Service Manager

We are seeking a Service Manager to lead our high-volume service department at CDF ProMecanique. In a busy shop where customer satisfaction is paramount and our reputation is strong, you will drive efficiency, coach a skilled team, and ensure top-quality service for every vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise all service department activities to ensure timely, high-quality repairs and service delivery.
• Lead and mentor a team of service advisors and technicians.
• Ensure outstanding customer service by communicating clearly with clients, providing accurate estimates, and managing expectations.
• Monitor workflow and shop utilization to maximize productivity and reduce downtime; implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Maintain safety, quality, and compliance with company policies and warranty guidelines.
• Collaborate with Parts suppliers to ensure the best value and rapid sourcing of parts.
• Manage shop performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in service management, preferably in an automotive repair environment.
• Strong experience with parts supply as well as tires.
• Proven success in leading a busy shop while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities; adept at managing multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with automotive service processes, estimates, warranties, and service management software.
• Bilingual in English and French preferred.
