Specialist in financial services

Joliette Toyota is looking for a Financial Services Specialist (F&I) to join its team.

This position focuses on assisting customers with the financing process for their vehicle and presenting insurance, protection, and vehicle warranty products.

We are seeking an experienced, professional, and results-oriented person capable of providing an exceptional customer experience while offering solutions tailored to each client's needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with customers following their vehicle purchase to complete the financing process;

• Advise customers on various financing and leasing options;

• Present and clearly explain available insurance, protection, and vehicle warranty products;

• Identify customers' needs and propose relevant, simple, and transparent solutions;

• Submit credit applications and follow up with different financial institutions;

• Negotiate and secure the best possible financing solutions for clients;

• Prepare, verify, and complete all necessary documentation for financing files;

• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and quick processing of files;

• Perform necessary follow-ups until the vehicle delivery;

• Work closely with the sales team, accounting, and delivery department;

• Maintain an excellent knowledge of various financial products and protections offered;

• Actively contribute to achieving and exceeding departmental objectives;

• Always provide a professional, ethical experience focused on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive financial services (F&I);
• Experience in selling insurance, financing, and automotive warranty products;
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills;
• Strong sales, negotiation, and closing abilities;
• Ability to quickly establish trust with clients;
• Strong customer service orientation and results focus;
• Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously with rigor;
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills;
• Autonomy and initiative;
• Team spirit;
• Good sense of ethics and compliance awareness;
• Good knowledge of automotive financial products and the financing process.
