St-Constant Kia is seeking a General Sales Manager to oversee all sales activities at the dealership and ensure an exceptional customer experience in Montérégie and the South Shore of Montreal. You will lead a dynamic team and work closely with the after-sales, financing, and marketing departments to maintain Kia's leadership in our region.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the overall commercial strategy, aligned with Kia's vision and the dealership's objectives, to optimize sales of new and used vehicles, financial services, and maintenance programs.
- Lead, coach, and develop the sales, financing, and after-sales teams; promote a customer service-focused culture, performance, and goal achievement.
- Achieve and surpass sales and profitability targets; analyze performance indicators (KPIs), establish forecasts, and prepare reports for management.
- Work closely with marketing and operations to deliver a seamless customer experience, from first contact to delivery and after-sales follow-up.
- Manage relationships with financial partners and suppliers, negotiate favorable conditions, and develop competitive offers.
- Ensure compliance with inventory, pricing policies, and Kia procedures; maintain operational compliance, safety, and ethics.
- Represent the dealership at local events and trade shows, and strengthen Kia’s brand image in the community.
- Implement ongoing training programs, onboarding, and best practice development for the team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a sales management position, with proven experience at Kia; demonstrated experience with the Kia brand is essential.
- Inspiring leadership, excellent communication, negotiation skills, and a customer service-oriented mindset.
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency with CRM tools and sales processes, and the ability to steer through data.
- Knowledge of the automotive market in Montérégie and the South Shore of Montreal; a local network is appreciated.
- Relevant degree (business management, marketing, administration) or equivalent; commitment to ongoing training.
- Operational proficiency in English is considered an asset; availability during open hours and flexibility according to sector demands.
