Job Description
We are looking for a Parts Clerk/Sales Advisor to join the team at Repentigny Chevrolet Buick GMC Corvette, a member of Tremblay Auto Group. Under the supervision of the parts manager, you will be the first point of contact for our customers in-store and over the phone, providing technical advice on parts and accessories and ensuring an optimal customer experience. You will work closely with the service team and workshop to ensure parts match the Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Greet and advise customers on suitable parts and accessories for their vehicles.
- Identify part references and codes, check stock levels, and place orders if necessary.
- Manage orders, returns, and assembly of parts as needed.
- Collaborate with the store and service teams to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Keep the parts department clean, organized, and attractive; participate in inventory counts.
- Use computer systems and point-of-sale to record sales and customer requests.
- Provide quick and courteous service to promote customer loyalty.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in auto parts sales or customer service role.
- Good general knowledge of auto parts and accessories; ability to quickly learn references related to Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC brands is an asset.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Team spirit and ability to work in a dynamic, customer-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with computer tools and parts management systems; knowledge of an ERP or POS system is an asset.
- Flexible schedule; availability to meet the operational needs of the dealership.
