Parts Manager

Daniel Paré Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Ste-Marie, a well-known Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram dealership in Sainte-Marie, Quebec, is seeking a passionate and results-driven Parts Manager to lead its parts and accessories department.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop the parts department team to provide exemplary customer service and support the overall performance of the dealership
• Plan and oversee inventory management, restocking, display, and stock levels, ensuring optimal turnover of parts
• Manage the ordering process, procurement, and follow-up with suppliers, ensuring availability and controlling costs
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (customer service, order lead time, inventory accuracy, gross margin) and propose corrective actions
• Collaborate closely with the after-sales and sales departments to ensure a smooth customer experience and maximize opportunities related to parts
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency, safety, and compliance
• Train, evaluate, and develop team skills, ensure recruitment when necessary, and plan resource allocation
• Participate in the preparation of the department's budget and optimize parts profitability
• Ensure compliance with inventory, safety, and quality standards

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in parts management or supervision within the automotive industry
• Demonstrated experience in inventory management, purchasing, and team supervision, ideally in a car dealership
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills; ability to work in a team and positively influence others
• Proficiency with parts management systems and computer tools; ability to analyze data and make decisions based on indicators
• Good analytical mindset, results-oriented, organized; ability to manage priorities and service pace
• Relevant degree (technical, commercial training, or equivalent experience) is an advantage
