Parts counter person

We are looking for a Parts Sales Clerk/Advisor to join Joliette Subaru, located in Notre-Dame-des-Prairies. Responsibilities

• Welcome customers at the counter and analyze their needs for parts and accessories.
• Advise on genuine Subaru parts and compatible parts.
• Manage orders, returns, and follow-up on parts to ensure quick delivery.
• Manage the parts department inventory and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Support technicians and the workshop by providing the right components and promoting service efficiency.
• Use the parts management system and point of sale for sales and orders.
• Participate in merchandising and updating prices at the counter.
• Develop cross-selling (upsell) and add-on sales opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and customer service procedures.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in auto parts sales or related position required.
• Or candidates with no experience but relevant training and a strong motivation to learn about auto parts.
• Good general knowledge of auto parts and accessories; interest in Subaru is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
• Team spirit, organization, and time management.
• Proficiency in French; English is an asset.
• Ability to work according to a structured schedule with some flexibility.
