Shop Foreman / Supervisor

We are looking for a Workshop Foreman / supervisor to join Joliette Ford Lincoln, a member of the St-Jean Group and a key player in the automotive industry in Greater Joliette. Job Description

• Supervise and coordinate workshop (mechanical) activities to ensure the achievement of production, quality, and service objectives.

• Plan, organize, and allocate daily tasks for the team, set priorities, and monitor performance indicators.

• Oversee, train, and evaluate technicians and assistants; promote a safe, respectful work environment focused on continuous improvement.

• Work closely with Parts, Service, and Reception departments to optimize workflows, deadlines, and customer satisfaction.

• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, safety standards, and quality standards; participate in the improvement of operational processes.

• Generate operational reports and communicate results to management.

• Adjust resources according to busy periods and service priorities.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role managing an auto repair shop or service workshop.
• Recognized leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate a team.
• Knowledge of repair processes, diagnostics, and inventory management; strong sense of quality and customer service.
• Planning, organization, and problem-solving skills under pressure.
• Good level of French; English is an asset.
• Degree in automotive technology or equivalent experience; valid driver’s license.
• Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement practices.
