VR Soulière Sherbrooke, a major player in automobile distribution in the Sherbrooke, Quebec region, is seeking a Sales Director to lead the commercial performance of its dealership. Based in Sherbrooke, this key role combines team leadership, commercial strategy, and operational excellence to support growth and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with the company’s objectives.
  • Analyze results and key indicators to optimize sales and profitability.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a sales advisors team towards excellence.
  • Implement concrete action plans to achieve and surpass goals.
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience, from first contact to delivery, and monitor post-sale satisfaction.
  • Work closely with other dealership departments (financing, after-sales service, parts, administration) to optimize the customer journey.
  • Participate in recruiting, training, and evaluating team members.
  • Optimize sales processes and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Manage inventories in collaboration with management to maximize sales opportunities and stock turnover.
  • Develop business opportunities and actively contribute to the company's growth.
  • Ensure smooth dealership operations by managing on-site priorities and general maintenance of the building and premises.

Desired Profile

  • Minimum experience: 1 year in a sales supervision or team management role, ideally in the automotive sector.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive sales issues: sales cycles, financing, after-sales services, parts, and warranties.
  • Proven leadership, results-oriented, excellent communication, and ability to motivate a team.
  • Analytical, planning, and process optimization skills; proficiency with CRM tools and reporting.
  • Strong customer focus and service orientation; ability to collaborate with different departments.
  • Proficiency in French; English is an asset.
  • Relevant diploma and/or equivalent experience.
