Parts counter person

We are looking for a motivated and customer satisfaction-oriented Parts Clerk / Sales Advisor to join the dynamic team at Gabriel Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM in Montreal. In this versatile role, you will be the preferred point of contact for our customers seeking genuine parts, accessories, and customized solutions for their Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles.

Main Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the workshop and after-sales service to ensure parts availability and quick installation if necessary.
• Prepare and process parts requests through the internal system, create quotations, and track orders until delivery.
• Manage inventory of parts in the showroom and warehouse; receive, label, organize, and perform periodic inventories.
• Conduct accurate transactions at the counter and adhere to internal procedures.
• Actively participate in promotions and sales goals by proposing cross-selling and providing an exceptional customer experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, and contribute to continuous improvement of the parts department processes.
• Professionally welcome customers, identify their needs, and suggest the most suitable parts and accessories.
• Advise on OEM parts and alternatives, explaining their features, benefits, and technical implications.

Desired Profile

• At least 2 years of experience in auto parts sales or a similar position, ideally in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories; ability to read catalogs and use parts management systems.
• Excellent customer service skills, active listening, and ability to propose suitable solutions.
• Rigor, attention to detail, good time management; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Team spirit and ability to operate in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in French; English is a plus.
