Parts counter person

We are looking for a motivated and customer service-oriented Part Sales Assistant/Advisor to join the Volkswagen Popular team in Montreal. You will be the reference at the parts counter and play a key role in optimizing the customer experience by providing accurate advice, efficient sales, and rigorous management of parts and accessories.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome customers and understand their needs for Volkswagen and other brands' parts and accessories.
• Recommend suitable solutions, suggest add-ons, and perform cross-selling when appropriate.
• Manage the parts section: receive deliveries, label, organize inventory, and ensure availability of the most requested items.
• Process customer and internal orders, prepare parts for the workshop, and follow up until withdrawal or delivery.
• Collaborate with technicians and after-sales service to ensure the accuracy of provided parts and smooth repair processes.
• Conduct transactions, maintain the appearance of the counter, and apply pricing and discount policies.
• Handle customer returns and claims professionally and promptly.
• Participate in regular inventories and continuous improvement of parts service processes.

Profile Sought

• Minimum one year of experience in auto parts sales or a role focused on customer service.
• Good knowledge of automotive parts and accessories; experience with the Volkswagen ecosystem or a workshop is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills, active listening, and customer service orientation.
• Team spirit, versatility, and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in French; English is an advantage.
• High school diploma; training or knowledge in parts management systems is a plus.
• Availability according to the center's hours and willingness to contribute to an exceptional customer experience.
