Internal service advisor

Ste-Marie Chevrolet Buick GMC Corvette in Saint-Rémi, near Montreal, is looking for an Internal Technical Advisor to support the team in vehicle preparation and coordinate between the workshops and the sales department. The ideal candidate acts as an internal pivot to ensure compliance, quality (PDI), and adherence to deadlines for new and used vehicles, while managing inventory and internal flows without direct contact with customers.

Main Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between the mechanic workshop and the sales department for vehicle preparation before delivery.
• Supervise the Pre-Delivery Inspection processes and ensure compliance with quality standards and internal procedures (PDI, safety, compliance).
• Manage inventory of vehicles and parts necessary for preparation and delivery.
• Plan and coordinate preparation timelines in collaboration with the workshop, supervisors, and advisors.
• Ensure document traceability and quality control related to each delivered vehicle.
• Work closely with after-sales and financing services to optimize internal operational efficiency.
• Participate in continuous improvement of preparation and delivery processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role or in a vehicle workshop/preparation environment.
• Knowledge of PDI processes and GM-specific quality standards.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage inventory and deadlines.
• Team spirit, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate without direct contact with clients.
• Proficiency with computer tools and systems for inventory management and after-sales.
• Good internal communication skills and ability to work effectively across departments.
