Deputy Sales Director

Job Summary**

• Assist sales advisors with transactions;
• Sell or lease vehicles according to customer satisfaction standards of the dealership;
• Support the manager with administrative tasks and replace them in case of absence.

Main Tasks**

• Ensure that sales advisors follow up with clients;
• Participate in the training of new sales advisors;
• Help identify the training needs of the sales team;
• Write reports on the progress of trainees or new sales advisors during their training and probation periods;
• Help the sales management set realistic monthly goals for each sales advisor;
• Share the responsibility with sales management for planning sales team meetings;
• Collaborate on vehicle exchanges between dealerships;
• Approve transactions at the request of your supervisor;
• Assist the sales management in administrative tasks such as listing used vehicles on the dealership's website, promotional sites, advertising, or inventory;
• Stay informed about updates related to products, current programs, and promotions from the manufacturer and/or banking institutions;
• Participate in planning and controlling the display of vehicles in the showroom and parking area;
• Coordinate the snow removal team.

Tasks Related to Sales**

• Advise on new and used cars according to the dealership’s customer satisfaction standards;
• Maintain a customer follow-up system that promotes customer satisfaction;
• Maintain a customer development system;
• Know and understand all federal, provincial, and municipal laws governing retail automobile sales;
• Attend product training and customer support courses;
• Stay updated on product features, accessories, and benefits for customers;
• Attend sales team meetings.
