The St-Louis Group, located in Cowansville, Quebec, is seeking a General Manager to oversee all operations and ensure the sustainable growth of our establishment. With an efficient, supportive, and committed team, you will be responsible for leading the strategic vision, optimizing performance, and guaranteeing an impeccable customer experience, adhering to quality standards and the company's values. Minimum required experience: 1 year in a leadership or management position.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the operational and financial strategy of the dealership, aligned with Toyota standards and local objectives.
- Oversee the Sales, Service, Parts, Finance, Marketing, and Human Resources departments; coordinate activities to maximize overall performance.
- Manage the budget, forecasts, performance indicators (KPIs), and the optimization of costs and margins.
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience and monitor compliance with procedures and service standards.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and operational compliance.
- Recruit, develop, and retain talent; ensure skill development and succession planning.
- Develop local partnerships and relationships with key clients and suppliers; manage risks as well as legal and regulatory aspects.
- Prepare and present periodic reports to management and ensure transparent communication within the team.
- Ensure the implementation of internal policies and workplace safety standards.
- Plan and lead process optimization initiatives and operational efficiency improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; experience in the automotive sector is a plus.
- At least 1 year of experience in a leadership or team management role.
- Demonstrated leadership, excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Results-oriented, customer service-focused, and capable of making decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency with computer tools and management systems; knowledge of sector processes and standards is an advantage.
- Fluent French; operational knowledge of English is a plus.
- Availability for flexible hours and ability to integrate into an environment where weekends are closed.
