Job Description

St-Constant Honda Desjardins is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to lead and optimize our parts department. The ideal candidate has proven experience in team management and inventory management within the automotive sector and shares our commitment to high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the parts service and lead the team to ensure quick, accurate, and customer-focused service.
  • Plan staffing, organize daily activities, and optimize workflows.
  • Manage inventory of parts, orders, receipts, returns, and inventory variations; oversee the lifecycle of parts and stock rotation.
  • Collaborate closely with workshops, sales, and customer service to ensure the availability of original Honda parts and related components.
  • Analyze and optimize costs, service levels, and delivery times; define and monitor departmental performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and partners, negotiate terms, and ensure the quality of parts.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Participate in talent development, provide coaching, and ensure ongoing training of the team.
  • Participate, if necessary, in commercial and marketing initiatives related to the parts department.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role in parts, ideally in the automotive sector; experience in a dealership is an advantage.
  • Solid experience in inventory management, ordering, warehousing, and logistics.
  • Proven leadership, team management, and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of parts management systems and ability to quickly learn internal tools.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual French-English is an advantage; fluency in French is required.
  • Valid driver's license.
