Your Role

As Human Resources Manager, you will act as a strategic partner to management to support organizational excellence throughout the talent lifecycle. You will provide expertise in labor relations, performance coaching, and pay equity, while implementing strategies that foster engagement and retention. You will also be responsible for health and safety at work (HSW), chairing the HSW committee, and ensuring the application of compliant and sustainable practices.

Main Responsibilities

Promote and develop an organizational culture centered on people, performance, and enjoyment at work.

Manage the full recruitment cycle, including onboarding and integration of new employees.

Supervise payroll administration for all employees, including unionized employees (mechanics) at Mauricie Toyota and non-unionized employees at other dealerships (weekly and bi-weekly pay).

Weekly payroll for Mauricie Toyota

Bi-weekly payroll for other dealerships

Manage the annual performance evaluation program.

Handle all aspects of HSW: prevention, compliance, training, and case follow-up.

Support and coach managers in team development and engagement strategies.

Follow up on absence, disability, and parental leave files, in collaboration with payroll.

Act as an ambassador of the company's culture and values.

Occasional travel (about once a quarter) to our Shawinigan branch.

Profile Sought

1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position (minimum 1 year required).

Experience with payroll software Employer D and Nethris.

Good proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Organized, rigorous, and autonomous person.
