Mechanic / Technician
Tesla Surrey - Langley Bypass, based in Surrey, BC, is seeking an experienced Mechanic / Technician to join our team dedicated to the maintenance and repair of electric vehicles and energy systems. You bring at least 5 years of experience and participate in maintaining safety and quality standards that are among the highest in the industry.
Main Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair Tesla electric vehicles and associated systems (drivetrain, electronics, batteries, motors, charging).
- Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs in accordance with Tesla procedures and safety standards.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools, interpret codes, and propose optimal solutions.
- Collaborate with technicians and engineers to improve processes and repair times.
- Accurately record interventions and ensure compliance with quality criteria.
- Strictly follow safety protocols, especially regarding the handling of batteries and high-voltage systems.
- Participate in the integration of new technologies and updating technical knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive mechanic/technician, ideally with exposure to electric vehicles.
- Relevant diploma or certification (DEP, CQP, or Professional Qualification Certification) and/or Red Seal certification or equivalent; valid driver's license.
- Strong skills in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electrical and electronic systems.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to high-voltage systems; strong safety orientation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and diagrams; proficiency with diagnostic tools.
- Good team spirit, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in French; English is an asset.

Expected Compensation
$23.10 - $47.12/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
