Our dealership is looking for an Assistant to the Controller who wishes to play an important role in the heart of administrative and accounting operations. Here, your rigor, judgment, and sense of organization will make a real difference on a daily basis.
You will work closely with the controller and various departments to ensure the quality of financial information, the tracking of accounting files, and the smooth administrative functioning of the dealership.

In this role, you will actively participate in the smooth running of the dealership's accounting operations.
You will notably be called upon to:
Record and validate sales files Perform bank reconciliations Manage and balance various cash registers Process, validate, and ensure follow-up of payroll Prepare government remittances Analyze accounts and track discrepancies Participate in monthly closings Contribute to the analysis of income statements and the preparation of management reports Prepare documents required for accounting verifications and audits Participate in improving administrative and accounting controls Collaborate with different departments to ensure good information flow Support the controller in various administrative and financial files The profile we would like to meet
We are looking for a reliable, organized person comfortable in an environment where managing multiple priorities simultaneously is sometimes necessary.
Ideally, you have:
Training in accounting, administration, or a related field Relevant experience in a similar position A good understanding of the accounting cycle Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Good ability to organize your work and adhere to deadlines Judgment, discretion, and professionalism Ease in collaborating with different stakeholders Experience in an automobile dealership will be considered a significant asset.
