CDF ProMecanique, based in Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot, Quebec, is seeking a Service Advisor / Parts Clerk to join our team. This role supports our commitment to outstanding customer service and accurate, efficient automotive repairs for cars, light trucks, and trailers. The position offers a stable 40-hour workweek with no evening shifts or weekend work.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule client appointments
  • Meet clients, draft precise work orders, and relay clear information to technicians
  • Prepare accurate estimates and explain repair options to clients
  • Order, receive into inventory, and invoice parts
  • Explain invoices to clients and collect payments
  • Allocate work to technicians and monitor workflow
  • Handle warranty claims and manage part returns
  • Complete inspection reports for commercial clients
  • Request purchase orders from clients

Qualifications

  • Punctual and reliable
  • Bilingual: French and English; Spanish is an asset
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid practical knowledge of automobile, light truck, and trailer repairs
  • Strong knowledge of parts and tires
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong writing ability; capable of drafting repair orders and reports with good grammar
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar service-advisory or parts-related role in an automotive setting
