Accounting Clerk

Jaguar Land Rover West-Island, a leading dealership for Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles in Dollard-des-Ormeaux (Quebec), is seeking a Clerk / Accounting Technician to strengthen its finance team.

Job Description You will join the finance department and contribute to the reliability of our accounting information, while supporting the dealership's operational activities. You will collaborate with sales, service, and parts teams to ensure accurate and efficient processing of financial flows.

Key Responsibilities

• Entering and verifying daily accounting entries and supporting documents.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable: processing invoices, tracking payments, and reconciling accounts.
• Bank reconciliations and account balancing.
• Preparing monthly reports and supporting documents for management.
• Participating in the monthly closing process and inventory.
• Contributing to process optimization and internal controls.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure data consistency and meeting deadlines.

Profile Sought

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting or clerical accounting role.
• Relevant training in accounting, administration, or finance (DEC/DEP or equivalent).
• Proficiency in French; operational English is an asset.
• Good skills in Excel and knowledge of accounting software.
• Rigor, teamwork spirit, organizational skills, and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Discretion and attention to data quality.
