Mechanic / Technician

Mega Kia Brossard, a dealership specializing in electric vehicles serving the Brossard area, is seeking a passionate and motivated Mechanic / Technician to join our dynamic team.

Day shift.

Main responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electric vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards and internal procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, propulsion, battery, and power electronics.
• Read and interpret diagrams, diagnostic reports, and technical procedures; use appropriate diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene rules in the workshop, especially regarding high-voltage work according to current protocols.
• Collaborate with the service team to provide high-quality customer service and sustainable solutions.
• Document interventions and maintain technical and service records.
• Actively participate in ongoing training and share knowledge with the team.

Qualifications and experience

• Minimum of one year of experience in auto repair; preference for experience with electric vehicles.
• Experience with Kia or Hyundai is an asset; we recognize experience gained at Kia and Hyundai, allowing for up to 6 weeks of paid vacation.
• Strong interest in electric vehicle technologies and ability to work in a team.
