We are seeking an experienced Mechanic/Technician to join Centre de Mécanique Gagnon / Auto Électrique Gagnon, a member of the NAPA AUTOPRO banner, located in Montreal, Quebec. Position: Mechanic / Technician
Experience required: minimum 3 years
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service and repair light, heavy, and electric vehicles
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with manufacturer standards and internal protocols
- Identify faults, propose solutions and prepare repair estimates
- Use modern diagnostic tools and equipment and industry software
- Work collaboratively with the team and ensure high-quality customer service
- Adhere to safety rules, quality control procedures and deadlines
- Write clear intervention reports and document the interventions performed
- Participate in parts management and inventory
- Participate in training and ongoing professional development
Qualifications sought
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive (and/or electromechanical) work
- Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of electrical/electronic systems in modern vehicles
- Team spirit, customer service mindset, and ability to communicate with clients and colleagues
- Proactivity, reliability and attention to detail
- Relevant training in the automotive field (an asset)
- Availability to work flexible hours and adapt to operational needs
