Job summary:

The electric vehicle mechanic specializes in the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of the electrical and high-voltage systems of electric vehicles. They ensure compliance with the manufacturer's safety and quality standards while providing professional service to customers.

Main responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electric vehicles (high-voltage battery, electric motor, charging system, etc.);
  • Conduct precise diagnostics using EV-specific tools and software;
  • Adhere to all safety procedures related to high-voltage systems;
  • Update and program electronic systems;
  • Complete work orders and document repairs performed;
  • Stay up to date on new electrical technologies and pursue the required training;
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment;
  • Perform other related tasks.

Required qualifications:

  • Experience in diagnosing and repairing electric vehicles (a major asset);
  • In-depth knowledge of battery and charging systems;
  • Detail-oriented, autonomous, and rigorous;
  • Valid driver's license.
