Specifically, in this position you will be responsible for:
Main responsibilities: Performing the work described during the service call; Determining the cause of any malfunction and making the repair; Communicating with the parts department to obtain necessary parts; Storing and labeling parts if the work is under warranty or if requested by the customer; Communicating with technical advisors if additional work is required, if the requested work is unnecessary, or if repairs cannot be done on the road or within the scheduled time; Documenting all work performed on the repair order; Performing a road test with the vehicle, if necessary.
Work schedule: Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Experience, training, and skills that would be helpful:
3 to 5 years of experience Diploma in heavy road vehicle mechanics Excellent driving record, Class 3 license required (Class 1 a plus) Good computer skills Excellent customer service Versatile and autonomous
