Mechanic / Technician (Apprentice)

Point S - Radial Tire Center La Prairie, a family-owned garage established on Taschereau Boulevard since 1947, is seeking a motivated Mechanic / Technician (Apprentice) to join our team.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance tasks and simple repairs on vehicles: suspension and brake system, tire mounting and dismounting, oil and filter changes.
• Participate in routine maintenance services and assist technicians with more complex interventions as needed.
• Conduct pre- and post-work inspections and communicate any anomalies to the technical team.
• Use workshop tools and equipment, respecting safety procedures and manufacturer standards.
• Contribute to maintaining order and cleanliness in the workshop and ensure efficient, quality service.
• Support the team in tracking work and communicating with customers when necessary to ensure their satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in the basic tasks described above (suspension, brakes, tire mounting, oil and filter changes).
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures and workshop tools.
• Team spirit, quick learner, attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and customer service orientation; autonomous under supervision and able to follow directives.
• Training or equivalent experience in automotive mechanics is an asset; motivation to advance toward more technical responsibilities.
