Mechanic / Technician

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Mechanic / Technician to join our dynamic workshop. At Alix Toyota, a leading Toyota dealership in Montreal for over 50 years, you will work within a passionate and professional team, in an environment focused on quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. A minimum of one year of experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in accordance with Toyota standards and internal procedures.
• Perform preventive and corrective interventions (inspections, brakes, suspensions, electrical and electronic systems, engine and transmissions, in-depth diagnostics).
• Use diagnostic tools and appropriate software to identify faults and validate repairs.
• Prepare service reports, document interventions, and make recommendations in the service computer system.
• Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians to ensure a high-quality customer experience and adhere to deadlines.
• Follow safety standards, cleanliness standards, and teamwork procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in automotive mechanics.
• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in automotive mechanics or equivalent technical training.
• Knowledge of modern systems and ability to read diagrams and technical manuals; experience with diagnostic tools.
• Rigor, analytical mindset, and attention to detail; ability to work in a team and solve problems.
• Valid driver's license; availability to work according to schedules compatible with the workshop.
• Fluent in French; knowledge of English is an asset.
