Job description

Are you recognized for your rigor, organizational skills, and ease with administrative tools? Do you enjoy analyzing information and conducting research? This position could be for you! We are currently looking for a purchasing clerk to join our team. The position could be based in Laval or Joliette.

Specifically, in this role, you will be responsible for:

Analyzing information related to parts, orders, and returns; Conducting research with suppliers and communicating with them regarding conditions, policies, and return procedures; Participating in administrative management and working closely with internal teams; Following up on customer agreements to ensure their compliance and updates; Collaborating with internal teams to support operations and facilitate case processing; Creating, updating, and analyzing various documents using Excel and Word; Performing various administrative tasks related to operations, according to the team’s priorities.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible daytime hours, between 30 and 35 hours per week.

Experience, training, and skills that would be helpful:

You are bilingual (French and English), both spoken and written (necessary for follow-ups with suppliers and document translation); You have very good proficiency in Excel and Word; You demonstrate great rigor and attention to detail in your work; You possess an analytical mind that allows you to understand and optimize data and processes; You are methodical and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively; You show independence, a sense of responsibility, and professional discretion; You easily collaborate with different teams (sales, operations, procurement).
