Lubrication and tire technician

EMP Garage, a mechanic shop for cars and trucks in Saint-Jérôme, with over 24 years of experience and recognized for its advanced diagnostics and personalized maintenance service, is seeking a Lubrication and Tire Technician to join its team.

Job Description

• Perform lubrication services and tire maintenance on all types of vehicles, from light cars to trucks, ensuring tire rotation, mounting/demounting, balancing, and replacement according to manufacturer standards.
• Check tire pressure, wear, and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Conduct safety inspections and fluid checks during services.
• Assist in diagnosing irregularities related to lubrication and pneumatic systems, and communicate recommendations to the team and customer.
• Keep the work area clean and secure, adhere to quality assurance and safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in lubrication and tire services or a related field.
• Knowledge of mounting/demounting, rotation, balancing, and replacement techniques; understanding of lubrication and cooling systems.
• Good manual skills, attention to detail, and customer service orientation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical instructions; team spirit and dependability.
• Proficiency in French; technical English is an asset.
• A valid driver’s license may be required depending on operational needs.
