Mechanic / Technician (Apprentice)

We are looking for a Mechanic / Technician (Apprentice) to join the V1 Auto - Garage L. Hébert inc. team, an active workshop in Repentigny since 1948. Proud of four generations, we have grown while maintaining the trust of our clientele thanks to recognized expertise and close service.

Job Description

• Work under the supervision of an experienced technician to carry out various maintenance and repair tasks on automobiles.
• Participate in diagnostics, fault identification, and proposing suitable solutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance (oil changes, filters, fluids, tires, brakes, suspensions, etc.) and regular vehicle inspections.
• Carry out simple part replacements and adjustments under supervision.
• Follow safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Document interventions and support the team in daily garage activities.
• Develop technical and professional skills through on-the-job training and guidance.

Candidate Profile

• Strong interest in automobiles and manual work; eager to learn and improve.
• Open to beginners and interns; 0 years of experience required.
• Team spirit, rigor, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, quickly learn garage tools and procedures.
• Availability to work in the workshop and adhere to safety rules.
