Mechanic / Technician (Apprentice)

We are seeking an Apprentice Mechanic to join LGS Performance, the automotive maintenance and mechanical division of Groupe Savard, located in Terrebonne. Full-time position.

Job Description

• Participate in the disassembly/reassembly of tires, balance wheels, perform seasonal tire changes
• Assist in disassembly/reassembly and restoring engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and suspension.
• Diagnose and carry out routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including exotic, luxury, and standard models, under supervision.
• Assist in diagnosing breakdowns using specialized tools and equipment; validate parts and appropriate procedures.

Prepare and document interventions, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and traceability standards.

• Work collaboratively with experienced technicians to resolve technical issues and ensure an optimal customer experience.
• Keep the workshop clean and organized; apply safety rules and internal procedures.

Requirements and desired profile

• Final-year student in the DEP Automotive program or apprentice mechanic; minimum of 1 year of experience required.
• Strong interest in automobiles and vehicles, including exotic, luxury, and standard models.
• Team spirit, autonomy, rigor, and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to work under direct supervision in a dynamic environment.
